PRO Cooperative needs 6 Class A Members to serve on the nominating committee   Your cooperative has 4 Director Positions up for election this year.  (Manson, Ruthven, Terril, Rolfe)   Nominating Committee members are needed to assist with sourcing Class A members willing to contribute to the success of PRO as board members  

Seeds For Stewardship

CHS and PRO Cooperative support local FFA Chapter and Greenhouse   PRO Cooperative announced a $5,000 donation to the local FFA Pilot Creek chapter. The funds will support upgrades and equipment needs for the Pocahontas Area High School greenhouse.   The $2,500 donated by PRO Coop is matched dollar for dollar by the CHS Seeds for Stewardship grant. Together, the $5,000 will benefit the greenhouse project for FFA and Pocahontas Area students. The funds will specifically go towards improving the FFA chapter greenhouse by adding new equipment and improving the water quality system.     

Three Area Students Receive AFA Scholarships

Agriculture Future of America and PRO Cooperative have announced three local high school students to receive AFA Leader and Academic Scholarships. These scholarships are presented to students pursuing four-year degrees in agriculture or related degree programs.

Additional Improvements Planned for Terril

POCAHONTAS — PRO Cooperative’s Board of Directors approved a plan to invest $3.0M in its operations in Terril with the construction of a new 750,000 bushel grain bin.  This addition will complement the 750,000 bushel bin, 20,000 bushel per hour grain leg and truck dump constructed last year.

Dust Control

Ruthven Project Update

Ruthven has entered the final stages of its ongoing renovation. Beginning May 1st, Ruthven's truck dump will be open as work ends on installing its replacement. The new pit will be able to dump two hoppers at once.

PRO Cooperative has established a new mission, vision and values statement that represents our continued commitment to the staff and member-owners.Over the course of the past five months, employees at all locations participated and developed these statements as a genuine voice for the co-op through our mission, vision and values.
